Sorry about being so long in posting, but almost nothing seems to happen to me, therefore, I have nothing to post about. :/
  Today is different, however. I am soon to be the owner of a new Nikon D3100. The trouble is, I need a name for it, so if you have any suggestions feel free to comment and tell me.

Since I'm not going to be on the computer tomorrow, I though I'd say a little early...

I can't help it

I can't keep myself from posting this. I though it was soooo funny, especially considering that the stores are always putting Christmas stuff out way too early. I hope you enjoy it too.

Dickens

I love Charles Dickens' books. They are so complex, yet so simple. You never know what is going to happen.
Of the movies that have been made a few are Excellent, some are good, and others are, well, not so good. Martin Chuzzlewit ( which I couldn't find a trailer for) is my favorite Dickens made into a movie, but Bleak House holds a close second.

OK, I know, I know, I haven't posted in a looooooong time, but that will change. ( I hope :)
Life has been very busy for me since my last post. I was engaged in the intricacies of Algebra 2 over the summer, and now that all the rest of school has started, I'm even busier. However, I will try to post something once a week.

This last week has been glorious (apart form the rain). Some of the leaves have started turning to their bright shades of red, yellow, and orange for the celebration they have every year, we procured our first jug of fresh apple cider, and I got to see the new Sherwood Pictures film, Courageous. If you haven't seen it, you must soon. It was and excellent story, and, I think, the best one yet. Here is the trailer, in case you haven't seen it already.

Fairies and things

Now most o' ye know that fairies mostly live in Ireland, but many of them live in other places. I would like to tell ye o' a fairy that lives in many places but is very little known...

They're a very small kind of fairy, about the size of a small book, but there are hundreds of thousands of them so it makes little difference, to them at least. They live in little boroughs in the ground, for even though they have wings, they cannot fly. (It is a common misconception that all fairies can fly, for, as I said, some can't.) They only come out when it's cold for they are a very warm blooded people. Every night, when it is cold enough to suit them, they come forth at midnight and dance. They will dance in groups or by themselves, but as they do so many, many little diamonds fall off of their clothes and out of their hair and land wherever they happen to be dancing. They will dance for hours without tiring, but a few minutes before the sun comes up, they hurry back to their boroughs to sleep all day.

And when the sun comes up and sees all the diamonds, he reaches out his golden fingers to take them, but as soon as he touches them, they turn to water.

However, if ye get up early enough before the sun is quite up, the world seems to sparkle and glitter, almost as if fairies had been while we slept and sprinkled magic diamonds on everything.

Wouldn't it be nice...
